The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in collaboration with Faculty of Law at the University of Bahrain, organised a roundtable event for the Legal Clinic and Human Rights Program at the NIHR's Training Center.
The event was attended by around 40 male and female law students, along with NIHR officials and program supervisors from the University of Bahrain.
The students shared presentations on the subjects they took part in during their training period at the NIHR, which included the practical application of dialogue skills and the exchange of ideas and information, and discussed the NIHR's role to promote and protect human rights.
This event was part of NIHR's Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Bahrain to support the Legal Clinic and Human Rights Program. The program provides law students with practical skills to deepen their academic education and develop their legal and human rights capabilities.
